Company History
Motivair Rail Services (MRS) incorporated in July 2008 in the UK, brings together talented design and engineering experts to address the complex, multi-stream design requirements of major infrastructure environments such as Londons underground rail network.
Formed whilst delivering a challenging, complex PFI project onto the London Underground for a worldwide media company, MRS has developed from a long history of engineering design. The founding company, Motivair CAD Services (MCS), has a rich history of operating successful design practices. MCS has been established within the building and construction industry for over 35 years, with work undertaken on worldwide landmark projects such as Terminal 3 Airport, Dubai - City Point, Morrgate, London - Eurotunnel; and is now the UK's largest, specialist building services CAD and design development company.
The vision for MRS emerged in 2008 with recent advances in technology and the deep experience gained of the unique engineering challenges of large scale existing infrastructure projects.
'In-house' 3D design and process expertise has been gained from projects as diverse as Heathrow Terminal 5 and the Jubilee Line Extension. Cutting edge processes have been developed to underpin highly rated 3D design, integrating information intense survey data and implementing Quality Assurance procedures.
MCS clients include over 30 of the largest names in the UK construction industry. They range from Arup and Bovis Lend Lease to Skanska and CBS Outdoor.

Based in Central London with integrated access to MCS' 52 CAD, Design & Management specialists, and a suite of industry associates and partner companies MRS can meet any design requirement.
